A Friend's Passing

We are saddened by the recent loss of our friend Jerry Tindall.  Jerry served in his official capacity at VSI as the Assistant Executive Director from 1994-2013.

During his entire career of serving those with disabilities, he filled many roles as an advocate, mentor, master float builder and friend.

Before coming to VSI Jerry served as the workshop manager at Jewish Vocational Services and worked for the state of Missouri in several social service capacities.

Jerry took on many leadership roles including past president of the Missouri Association of Sheltered Workshop Managers and as a member of Missouri Rehabilitation Association.  He provided technical training to other workshop managers and to the staff at VSI.

Jerry’s passion for life was evident in both his professional and personal life.  He loved music, telling stories and sharing a good laugh.  He will be missed, but his legacy will live on through his work.
