Former VSI Employee Is In the News

A VSI alum was in the news recently.

Stephen Grayum is a former VSI employee who moved to Ames, Iowa. He was recently featured in the Ames Tribune newspaper in an article about his athletic ability and the Special Olympics of Iowa Summer Games, which occurred in May.

The event drew nearly 3,000 athletes and some 3,000 volunteers for a week of sporting events and activities. The top athletes from the Summer Games will travel to New Jersey.

Grayum was chosen for the torch running when the Special Olympics organization asked the Arc of Story County for recommendations.
